This month I’d like to round up some important forthcoming events in the Bengal Cats World. On the 28th July, the Bengal Cat Club will be holding there second Championship show at the Northcroft Leisure Centre in Newbury (UK). A great place to exhibit Bengal Kittens in the United States would be ‘On Safari’ – the annual Bengal Cat Show will this year be held in Ohio between Sept 28th and 30th at the Lucas County Recreational Centre in Maumee. (US) On the 06th October, The Bengal Cat Club of Great Britain will be holding their annual show at the Lutterworth Sports Centre. (UK) The 31st Supreme Cat Show will be held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham (UK) on the 17th November. The date for the annual Bengal and Ocicat Cat Club (UK) hasn’t been announced yet.

Politics is changing in Europe and none more so than in Spain. With European nationals able to vote in a country in which they are legally registered, Spanish parties are having to amend their campaign tactics. Now they must seek votes from non Spaniards who in many cases have a totally different outlook on politics in general and on how their town should be run. The wind of change is blowing in the Spanish political arena.

Golfing in Spain is on the move. With more than 10 courses being built on a year on year basis, Spains emergence from being ´known as only a beach holiday destination is now complete, a fact reinforced by the arrival to these shores of the American golfing legend Jack Nicklaus. The Golden Bear has been hired by a large business consortium to design and approve the building of 5 major golf courses in Murcia on Spains eastern coastline.

Europeans have a far different outlook on life recent studies have shown. People from many European countries now enjoy a higher standard of living and as such, they have moved away from traditional investments in stocks and shares and more into the emerging property markets of southern Europe, especially Spain. Properties constructed in Spain in 2006 outstripped Britain by 4 to one, a fact that further demonstrates the modern Europeans thinking that its better to spend your disposable income on assets on something you can enjoy and what better way to do it than buying a home in Spain.
